Welcome!

Once a family decide to join Cub Scouting, they need decide which pack to join.  This is a very important decision.  The choice of a Cub Scout Pack is usually a matter of where friends are joining and/or the convenience of the meeting location.  Boys and girls do not have to go to any particular school or live in any particular area to join Cub Scouts with Pack 1220.  In fact, we have many boys, girls, and leaders, who live throughout Plano, Frisco and Allen. Any child who is in the Kindergarten through fifth grade can join Cub Scouting with Pack 1220, at  anytime during the year.

Families interested in Cub Scouting should visit the About Cub Scouting page for detailed information. Cub Scouting is for all kids Kindergarten through fifth grade. Click here for our: Welcome to Cub Scouts Information Packet (20kb, pdf).

A den normally consist of a group of 4-10  in a particular grade, led by one or more adult den leader volunteers.  The leader(s) and parents of the den decide when and where the den meets. Information about our dens and their meeting days is available from the cubmaster. If there is space in a den, or if a new den forms with a den leader, then Pack 1220 will accept any eligible child for membership.
